Recently, CMS has added several prospective payment systems to their pay-for-reporting
program. Many programs begin to take effect in 2012–2013.
Pick one of the newly designed quality reporting program discussed in the text.
1. Review the CMS website at http://www.cms.gov/QualityInitiativesGenInfo/ as well as

2. Prepare an educational PowerPoint presentation regarding the program’s new
requirement for your medical director and department heads at Anywhere Hospital.
3. Provide examples of how this new program may impact your facility from a
reimbursement perspective.
Requirements

Provide a 5–6 slide PowerPoint presentation and download to the Unit 9 Dropbox. See
