Some physicians in US were randomly selected to respond to the issue. The physicians agreed that that they had an obligation to address the topic of health care costs. They agreed that the costs could be reduced using quality initiatives. The article also states that the high cost of health services in US puts as strain on the economy. The health care providers have a responsibility in monitoring the quality and expenses on healthcare. It therefore supports my proposal change that physicians should seek ways of regulating the costs of healthcare(Tilburt et.al.,2013).Sommers, B. D., Buchmueller, T., Decker, S. L., Carey, C., & Kronick, R. (2013). The Affordable Care Act has led to significant gains in health insurance and access to care for young adults. Health affairs, 32(1), 165-174.This article explains that the Affordable Care Act of US helps the young people below 26 years to have their health covered under the health insurance of their parents. However, the article also states that there is no evidence that it guarantees them to access health care. As per 2011, the percentage of insured young adults had increased by approximately 6 percent. The findings for this research study were a significance drop in the number of youths who could not access health care because of costs. This article supports my proposal for cost reduction. However, it has not addressed the issue of premium reduction (Sommers et.al., 2013).Sommers, B. D., Gunja, M. Z., Finegold, K., & Musco, T. (2015).
