personal care aide or home health aide’s required work knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics (KSAOs). Please
read the following background information and necessary instructions carefully before you start your work.
We as the researchers have recently collected field knowledge by distributing questionnaires to and conducting phone based interviews with experienced workers in this field. After collecting data, we ran descriptive statistics and also transcribed digital interview record into useful information. Available information helps us understand what KSAOs are needed in order to perform a personal care aide’s daily work well. Your role is to help us create different work behavior for each work task that can distinguish personal care aides from poor to exceptional performers when they are evaluated by each question/task. There will
be eight questions representing eight different work tasks to which you will respond.
To be specific, you are given information collected from the interviewees. For each task, there are interview responses that provide you with some basic ideas about poor, good, or exceptional performers. There is also information on required work
KSAOs for personal care aides from interviewees’ perspectives. In particular, there are three performance levels that distinguish each KSAO. Considering this available information, create five different work behavior for each task. Note that the 15
scale denotes the points that a personal care aide will earn when he/she takes a certain action to accomplish a given task. 1 = poorest
