Keiths attitude was very nonchalant toward the Laura when she tried to counsel him regarding his chronic absenteeism and the expectations for improvement in this behavior. Once again Keith called in sick on a very busy day and the staff was very upset because this required the on-call nurse to work overtime to provide coverage. Later that day Laura spoke to the PACU nurse manager at another large hospital in the same town and she told Laura that Keith was working as an agency nurse for her that day.
