Students will develop and implement a community health education program for a PAR (Population at Risk). The PAR
May be the same population that the student chooses
To work with for the Community Health Policy Project.

Directions

1. Review ideas for community health education program with faculty (Veda Gregory) at least one week before the presentation.

2. Review the student evaluation tool for the health promotion project.

3. Presentation must be videotaped and uploaded to Tegrity or YouTube. ( only method of delivery)

4. Presentation must be videotaped in a manner where faculty can see the front of the presenter talking and the backs of those in the audience to receive credit for participation (see below).

5. Written behavioral objectives, copy of pre/ posttest, content outline and student evaluation tool must be submitted via the assignment tool. ( Pre/Posttest should be based upon the objec¬tives)

6. Community health education project must be completed and submitted on or before the designated due date or a zero will be recorded.

Grading Criteria

l. Objectives behavioral, measurable, attainable and appropriate for both learner and teacher. (10 pt.)

2. Evaluation method appropriate for the situation and based upon the objectives. (10 pt.)
