Week 3: This week is about levels of prevention. Once a middle age or elderly patient is diagnosed with diabetes any interventions would be considered secondary and/or tertiary. Support is much needed for these middle age and elderly. However this project is focusing on primary prevention ? prevent the diabetes. What are some of the issues with primary prevention with diabetes? How would a patient?s culture impact your approach to primary prevention?
