For EACH LESSON, students are required to outline the following information based on the chosen theme, for each age group:

(1) 3 overall learning objectives

Early learning standards and/or common core standards for each content area: 2 Language arts standards, 2 math standards, 2 science standards, 2 social studies standards, 1 physical education, 1 arts;

2 Pre-Assessments, 2 Ongoing assessments, 2 post assessments

Materials needed: 4 quality children’s books, 1 CD related to the theme or two songs related to the theme, materials needed to conduct the lessons

(5) 2 page reflection discussing the importance of integrating content areas and the process. 1st paragraph will discuss the chosen theme and age groups and the rationale for choosing the theme, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th paragraphs will discuss the importance of integrating curriculum. Students are expected to cite from the textbook to support your claims. 5th paragraph will reflect on the process of writing the lesson plans. 6th paragraph will conclude the paper
